Surrounded by lush river valleys, and flat, fertile corn and soybean fields, Delphi is a meld of past and present cultures. In contrast to air traffic and modern farm machinery, visitor’s will delight to the occasional horse and buggy on the road driven by Old Order German Baptists conducting business in our community. On spring, summer and fall days, fresh produce planted, grown and harvested by the manual labor of Old Order families is offered for sale around the historic Carroll County Courthouse. We are extremely proud of our unique blend of cultures, accommodating and friendly citizens, and the variety of businesses, organizations, churches, schools, parks, and trails that contribute to our rural atmosphere.
